Site Access and Wrong Currency

  • Unknown's avatar

I can no longer access my site ‘ewbnewark.org’ because it is showing up in my account as ‘ewbnewarkdotorg’. I also noticed that the currency on the account is listed in GBP instead of USD. This should have always been a US site since I and the non-profit organization using the site are only based out of the US. How do I get access to my site at ‘ewbnewark.org’ and have the account show up in USD? This just happened today, it was working smoothly last week.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

I can no longer access my site ‘ewbnewark.org’ because it is showing up in my account as ‘ewbnewarkdotorg’.

It is because ewbnewark.org is not associated with the account you contacted us from. You’ll need to log into the account that is associated with that site and its domain upgrade.

I also noticed that the currency on the account is listed in GBP instead of USD.

I have changed the currency under your account from GBP to USD. The account with the upgrade is already set to USD.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!

Hello, thank you for the updated currency as well as checking on the account.

I don’t understand how I could no longer be associated with that account since I was the administrator for it, did the initial setup, paid for the domain, and have been actively maintaining the ewbnewark.org website for about a year now. How was I removed from the account? Also, how did ‘ewbnewarkdotorg’ come into existence as a page? It isn’t even a valid domain! Can somebody add me back to my account?

  • Hi there,

There is no history of bhammond3 ever being associated with the account. What I gather is that you created two separate accounts. Maybe inadvertently? Either way, the account the upgrade is under has a different email attached to it. Do you remember having an email that is connected to ewbnewark.org in any way?

ewbnewarkdotorg.wordpress.com most likely was created as you opened your bhammond3 account.

Let me know if you have additional emails that might be connected to the other account. Thanks!
