site address

  I am trying to create a business website and when I go to add site address and click on ‘already own a domain’, the domain name that I type in ‘www.getme.com’ says it is already mapped to a WordPress site…The issue is, we own that domain and our current website is not through WordPress. So we would like to know who is using that domain if it is not us and how do we discontinue that?
