Site Address Change

  Dear all,

  I would like to change the URL of my blog to insidecernjobs.wordpress.com.

  I didn’t see that there was an option to do this at the beginning, and I therefore created another blog with the new address (insidecernjobs.wordpress.com), thinking I would transfert evrything from the previous address to the new one.

  Unfortunately, I realised I could have simply changed the initial address, and deleted the new empty blog a few day ago (using the address insidecernjobs.wordpress.com), thinking I could change the address to my initial blog, which is no longer possible: I’ve got an error message saying “Sorry, that site already exists!”…

  Therefore, is there a possiblity for anyone to enable me to use this adress…?

  You deleted it? Then it is gone forever, as the warnings said it would be. Either become comfortable witht he existing address or purchase a custom domain and the mapping upgrade to get whatever.com instead of whatever.wordpress.com.

  oh no… when you say forever, is it never ever? Any chance one of the happy engineer could just remove this from the neveragain list? Or is there any timeline where the URL will be available as it can be the case for exemple for mobile numbers when cancelled?
