Site address changed erroneously in WordPress.com
-
Hi!
I recently used the STAGING plugin to create dev copies of some of my sites, only for WordPress to change the site urls under MY SITES in my WordPress.com dashboard to that of the dev sites, and now things like logging into my sites with wordpress no longer works. I did try disconnecting and reconnecting the sites in question (and I have since deleted the dev sites) but still WordPress.com thinks that the dev sites are live and refuses to acknowledge the existence of the ACTUAL live sites at their real (i.e. non-dev) site addresses.
Any ideas pls?

Hi @wizardome, please double check the site URL options under your general settings. If those are correct, disconnect and reconnect once more. Cheers!

Hi!
I presume you mean to check the site URL under general settings in my wordpress admin, and not on wordpress.com. I can confirm the URLs are shown correctly in my wordpress admin general settings.
I have disconnected and reconnected Jetpack several times by disabling and re-enabling the plugin in the wordpress admin, and then completing the connection sequence, but still wordpress.com shows the sites in question with a /dev/ suffix sat the end…
Am stumped ;-)

Hi @wizardome, yeah, that’s the setting I’m referring to.
I currently don’t see any sites with a /dev/ suffix on your account. Did you sort this out?
