site admin email inbox – where to find

    I was upgrading to latest WordPress version and now I get this message. ‘The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’ I can’t access my Dashboard. I don’t remember how to find my site admin email inbox. Any suggestions?

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.

    Please post in the self-hosted WordPress forums instead for help:

    The site admin email would be the email address you used when setting up your admin user on the site, and the inbox would be the one in your email client for that email address. It’s not an inbox that exists inside your site’s dashboard.
