site already exists

  i created a blog and then deleted it because there were problems that i couldnt fix. Now, I want to create a new blog with the same name but it says the site already exists (even though I confirmed delete in an email).

  I need to use the name (of my company)

  Hi. Sorry, but a blog deletion is permanent. When you confirmed the deletion of a blog, through the dashboard and by email, you also confirmed you would no longer use the address being deleted:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/

  Since WordPress.com does not recycle blog names, as an alternative, you can either choose a slightly different name or you can buy a domain name of your choice plus the domain mapping option.

  PS – There is NOTHING that can’t be fixed with a new blog – there are some features that are not permitted here for security reasons – but you could have just deleted what ever you did and started over – and went back to the default Theme if you had switched Themes.
