‘Site cannot be accessed’ message on my website

    How do I gain access to my website? I changed the domain name and now it is saying that the site cannot be accessed and no further changes are saving because of this. The only option it gives me is to remove the site.

    Hi there,

    Of what site are you speaking? Your WordPress.com account only owns one site, latelywithlyss.wordpress.com, that was created yesterday, and there has never been any address changes on that site.

    If you’re referring to a WordPress site at another hosting provider, changing the domain on a stand-alone WordPress site like that has to follow a specific process. You can find the documentation for that process here, though many hosting providers have their own process for this via their hosting control panel.
