Site can’t be reached after transfer to new registrar

    Hi,
I’ve followed the instructions on how to transfer the domain to the new registrar of my client. However, I can’t acces the website because my browsers think it is not safe. They say it might be a problem on the side of WordPress.com. But I don’t see the domain in my account of my client anymore.

    Some more information:
    – I’ve added the SSL certificate
    – I’ve checked and verified the ICANN.
    – The nameservers aren’t pointing to WordPress.com anymore (that’s a good thing I guess)

If anyone has any tips/solutions, please let me know!

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there!

If the nameservers of the domain (Or any DNS records) were updated recently, it’s normal for the browsers to be unable to access the site because this change can take up to 72 hours to take effect. During this propagation time, the site can be inaccessible. You can clear your browser cache and wait up to 72 hours, and the site will start loading with its new host.

Here’s how to clear your browser cache: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache

Feel free to let us know if you have more questions.
