Site deletion

  I want to delete a site, but re open it under a different WP account. When I go to the delete page, it’s warning me that the domain name will no longer be available. Won’t it be available to another user i.e., me on a different account?

  Don’t delete a site unless you never want to use the address again. See instead: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/
