Site deletion

    Hi, I have this website but I think the chap who built it several years ago still owns it and so I can’t delete it. We have a new (WordPress) site so this old one is no longer required. I can’t get in touch with the initial developer and the ‘delete site’ options are not appearing. I do not want to close my whole account as we are still using WordPress. How can I remove the old site?

    I do not see any sites under your WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

    Is it possible you created your site under a different login instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

    Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.
