  Merry Meet everyone;

  I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to my question. I am currently using a free site with wordpress here and love it. However I want to change my domain name, I know how to do this, my question is will it erase all the work I have already put into my site? Will I have to start over or does it just change my domain?

  No, you updating/changing your domain will not affect the actual content on your website whatsoever. You can change your blog address by going to My Blogs, and clicking the Change Blog Address link that appears when you hover over the address you want to change:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/

  Note that you have the option to choose your user name to match the new blog address. If you choose this option, you will not be able to revert back to the original username, and it can affect profile URLs for other services such as Gravatar or IntenseDebate.
