    Hi, I want to know why I am unable to edit my domain to a past name? I’m planning on upgrading my account, would that allow me get it back?

    Hi there,

    When you change a site address, the previous address is deleted. Deleted addresses can only be restored for a period of 30 days, after which they’re removed completely, and can never be used again, not even by the original owner.

    If you’re planning to upgrade you’re probably also planning to use a custom domain which is included for free for the first year on all our paid plans. That will replace the free address so it won’t matter what the free address is, as no one will see it.
