Site down
-
Our site is down completely for some reason. We’re getting a ‘This site can’t be reached’ message. We have other WordPress blogs on the same server and they are fine, so it’s something specific to this site. Our IT Director has tried turning off caching, rolling back upgrades, and rolling back php versions, but nothing has worked. I cannot access the site at all, as an admin or user.

Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
Are you able to confirm the URL of the website that you need assistance with please?
What updates have taken place on the site prior to this happening?
-
Hello yes the URL is http://asshperspectives.flywheelsites.com/wp-login.php. There were no updates that I’m aware of, at least nothing that we manually initiated.

Hi there,
I checked the site and unfortunately, we cannot help because we don’t host your site directly on our WordPress.com managed hosting. Instead, your site is hosted with a different provider on a separate host, and we cannot take a closer look.
The site is hosted with Flywheel and they should be able to help you with the site since they have access to your account. I would recommend reaching out to them: https://getflywheel.com/
The good news is that because your host uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform (which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com), help is also available at the forums here:
https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
The folks in the open-source forum are more familiar with these issues and are in the best position to help. I hope this points you in the right direction.
