site down after updating wordpress and plug ins
-
Today I updated my WordPress to the most recent version. I also hit upgrade to all my plug ins. 5 minutes later my site and admin panel does not load. I get this message on the screen when I type my URL into the address bar.
Warning: require(/home/annali8/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-date-query.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/annali8/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 170 Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/annali8/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-date-query.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/annali8/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 170
AND on the admin page I get this message: The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. -
Hi there,
The site annaliseolson.com appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on InMotion Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.
You can confirm here: https://gwhois.org/annaliseolson.com+dns
To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and InMotion also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here. Because of this we are not able to help with your issue as it lies outside of our system. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for more info.
You can find support for your self-hosted WordPress site here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
You may also wish to contact your host’s support team for more assistance.
Hope that points you in the right direction!
