Hi there, I am helping someone with their site but it wasn’t built by me. Now the site identity displayed next to the URL is not right but we can’t find where to change it. Under appearance>customize what it displays is different to what displays next to the favicon. Please help!

Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and is hosted elsewhere. It might be hosted by GoDaddy.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on WordPress.com.
