‘*site* is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP 500 Error’
-
Hi,
I’ve built a site on WordPress (using Elegant Theme’s Divi Visual Builder). The site was complete and ready to publish, but I was requested to add a payment portal.
After trying to do this using Stripe and Woocommerce, a notification appeared saying that the site did not have an ssl certificate and that the site was ‘not secure’. After researching how to gain a ssl certificate, the plugin ‘Let’s Encrypt’ was suggested.
After installing this plugin, any page or button I clicked on would lead me to ‘*site* is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP 500 Error’ page.
I had trouble logging onto my site before this, but if I used the link sent to me by WordPress, I could log on. But I wouldn’t be able to log in if I manually went to wordpress.com. It would say the account didnt exist.
Now if I can log in on wordpress.com prefectly fine, but ‘My Site’ says I dont have a site yet??
I’m terrified I’ve lost the whole site…Please help.
