Site is gone
-
We noticed today our organization’s website seems to have disappeared. The domain is still registered, but all of our content is gone. When you load the site, it just says ‘Just another WordPress site,’ and a blog post ‘Hello world! Welcome to WordPress. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start writing!’ We are able to log into wordpress blog, but we are not able to log in to the wp-admin for our site. We recently deleted another site connected to the account, but it was a completely separate site that was built as a blog instead of a website, and our main website has been working since then with no issues. Is there a way to restore the website, or detect what is going on?

Looking into it, I think mauldinculturalcenter.org is hosted through Bluehost, as opposed to our other website which was hosted on wordpress.com. I will contact them as well.

Hi there,
That site is hosted by Bluehost, yes, and has no connection to WordPress.com, so contacting them directly is likely your best option to get help with this.
You can find general support for the version of WordPress you’re using on that site here:

I had the same issue last night. My hosting company have tracked it to a problem with Themegrill. If you are using their templates that could be your issue. They sent me this link https://thehackernews.com/2020/02/themegrill-wordpress-plugin.html.%20We
It seems it is the themegrill demo plugin.

@michelerigby, please discuss those issues in the official WordPress.org forums:

On theses forums we can only discuss about issues with WordPress.com hosted sites.
