site is unailable after domain mapping
-
Hello,
I bought the domain http://www.businessboudoir.de with a provider and want to redirect the blog wordpress.businessboudoir.com to this url. Two days ago I mapped the domain and since then I get the message “Too many redirects. Please try again”.
I checked with my provider who reassured me that everything is fine and that I should make sure that I gave the correct url to WordPress, which i double-checked. I emptied the cache and deleted old cookies. N
Now I am lost and don’t know what to do. I do have a premium account and understood that domain mapping is included in this service.Could you kindly provide some advice?
Kind regards from Munich (Germany)

Hi there!
It looks like you’ve got a redirect loop happening. Instead of setting up your A records to point to us, can you please update your name servers to these:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
Once your name servers are pointing to WordPress.com, this should start working. If not, I can help you fix those DNS records.

Hi Shawna,
thank you for your reply. I would appreciate your help! Please advise what to do.
Is this the right place to fix the DNS: https://businessboudoir.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains&ref=name-change ?
Thank you!

You’ll actually need to make those changes with your registrar. I’m unable to find any information about this domain, so I can’t point you in the right direction.
Whoever you paid to get the domain, that’s who you need to contact about changing your name servers.

Thank you very much for your help, Shawna. All is resolved and fine now.
