Site just stopped working and wont load wp-admin

  A website I did for a family member stopped working all of a sudden. I’ve checked with the hosting company and everything seems to be in place and doesn’t expire till 2023. It wont let me in to update or do anything to WordPress.. PLEASE help so I don’t have to rebuild this thing.

  Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.

  Is the error I get!

  It wont even allow me to access wp-admin but when i go to hostgator and go to file manager it shows WP installed.

  Hostgator should be able to help you out, but if not, you can also ask folks at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ – that’s the official support forum for WordPress sites.
