  I recently registered a blog name. But decided to cancle this site. Now i tried to create a new site with the same name and even this site does not exist anymore, wordpress tells me that the name is already in use.

  Anyway, I would like to use the name of the cancled site. What can we do?

  Nothing except come to terms with it and pick a new name. When you delete a blog there are three warnings and an email confirmation saying you understand deletion is permanent and irreversible.

  I generally recommend getting a placeholder.wordpress.com URL and then buying a custom domain and mapping to get whateveryouwant.com for $18 a year.
