Site name change

    I was part way through setting up a site when an internet connection issue caused the process the skip through, setting the site name and a free plan. I’m wasn’t 100% sure about the site name and actually wanted a paid plan. Can I change the name and upgrade now or do I need to cancel and start again (after 30 days)? Been looking around but cannot see how to do this.

    You can change your site’s address by following this guide:

    https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/

    You can, however, keep your current free address and register a custom domain name. This will hide your free .wordpress.com address and it also comes for free for the first year if you purchase one of our plans.
