When I log in, I can’t navigate the site. All I want to do is follow the ‘Hooves’ blog at ‘hoovesblog.com’, and comment on the posts there. When I log in, I am taken away from the blog into some unknown land and I either cannot find my way back to the hooves blog, or ‘accidentally’ stumble across it somehow. I feel there is something wrong with my login.

You don’t say what page you log in on, but regardless, bookmark the WPcom site you want to visit and after you log in to WPcom, simply click on your web browser’s bookmark to get there.
