Site Ownership

I transferred the admin role from my partner’s account to our business’s account and now wordpress is telling me that ‘somebody else owns [our] site’s connection to wordpress.com. How would I identify who is currently in control of the account?

Hi –
pidgebklyn.com is not actually running through WordPress.com. It’s registered at GoDaddy and the name servers are set to CloudFlare.
Help for sites that run the open source WordPress software will come from the community forums at https://wordpress.org/support/
More about the differences between WordPress.com and the WordPress software can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Apologies. I just read through your post again. Here’s what I see with the Jetpack debugging tool – there’s an XML RPC communication error.
We were unable to make an XML-RPC request to your website. Please make sure that XML-RPC is turned on and that Jetpack is installed, activated and connected with your WordPress.com account. If the error persists, try disconnecting and connecting Jetpack again.
