Hi there,
I see you got through to live chat after posting here, but you never replied to the people who tried to help you.
Your site is not showing the changes you’re making with us, because your domain is not pointed to your WordPress.com site, meaning you’re loading a completely different site if you try to view your domain. For your site to display correctly you need to change your domain’s name servers to point back to us, here:
https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/bosstoyogi.com/name-servers/bosstoyogi.com
Please let me know if you need any more help with this.
-
Thank you, I’ve made the changes to reflect the desired results. I’m sure I’ll have more questions later:)

HI, it still not showing my changes, I have pointed my domain to WordPress.
I’ve also downloaded the latest version of wordpress.org, how do I get that up and running. Do I need to find another host. WordPress is currently my host,

Your domain is correctly loading your WordPress.com site for me now. Please clear your browser cache and it should start loading the site on your end as well.
On WordPress.com we automatically keep the WordPress software updated for you, so your site is already running the newest version. There is no need for you to manually download and install the software if you’re hosted with us.

I’m trying to follow this videos instruction but he has a different interphrase then me. what is he using that is different than mine?
Thanks -
ok great, I want to use wordpress.org not .com
how do switch over?If you want to run a self-hosted WordPress site first you’ll need a hosting account with a provider like Pressable or Bluehost. I suggest you research the different hosting providers and accounts available, as there is a great range of options depending on how much you want to pay.
Once you have a hosting account set up you’ll need to install the WordPress software to your host’s server. How you do that depend on your hosting provider, though many will do this step for you. Again, do your research first.
Then you’ll need to install a theme on the site and connect your domain. Once all that is done you can export any content you already have on your WordPress.com site and import it to your self-hosted site.
We have a detailed guide explaining the process here:
Note that the premium plan you bought from us cannot be used for a self-hosted site, but you’re still within the refund period so you can cancel and refund that from the Purchases page:
https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/
Do not cancel your domain if you still want to use it. Instead you can point or transfer it to your new provider.

I’m afraid I have no idea what you’re speaking of here. Please see the guide I linked to above for migrating your content away from us. Tutorial videos for the self-hosted WordPress software won’t help you with what needs to be done on our end.

The instructions from this video, I guess they are using wordpress.org on a different host. That’s why the interphase isn’t the same as mine.
Why is wordpress only refunding me 70$ and not the 26$ for my domain name, I brought that domain name from Namesilo and not from WordPress.
Thanks
-
You transferred the domain, bosstoyogi.com, to us on 29 March, at which point your domain was renewed for another year. So that domain is now registered with us, and the $26 that’s not being refunded is for the renewal of the domain.

Transferring a domain automatically places a new 60 day transfer lock on the domain, yes, and there is no way to lift that lock sooner.
However, if you want to use the domain with another provider you can do that without transferring. You can also point the domain to another hosting provider by simply changing the name servers, or by adding the other host’s IP addresses to your domain’s DNS. We have instructions on both methods here:

Hi I Have been trying to access wordpress.org from day one, how do I get this wordpress.org as most tutorials use the wordpress.org dashboard.
please help
thanks -
To log into the WordPress.org website, you need to register an account on that site, but all that will do is allow you to post/comment in their forums and bug trackers. Logging in to WordPress.org has nothing at all to do with your site.
To log into your site’s dashboard you need to use the username and password your hosting provider should have emailed you the day you first installed that software on their servers.
If you mean you want to create a site using the WordPress.org software, and move the content on your WordPress.com site to that site, you need to get a hosting provider, connect your domain to them, install the WordPress software, and migrate your content over, as explained in the move.wordpress.com guide I linked to for you last Friday.
