Site Redirect

  We have paid for a site redirect, but it’s not working. We have directed http://www.shcjblog.org and http://www.shcj.wordpress.com to http://info.shcj.org/, but it doesn’t redirect there, Instead typing in that URL takes you to a search page. What do we need to do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there – the redirect address you input included an extra “http://” and a trailing slash, as you can see in this screenshot: http://cl.ly/image/1D0H1G1a132P

  I’ve removed both the “http://” and the final “/” and updated the redirect.

  Please let me know if you need anything else.

  Thank You. However, the URLs are still not working. When typing in http://www.shcjblog.org or http://www.shcj.wordpress.org, I am directed to a search listings page…..

  Hi there – I’m sorry you’re still having trouble.

  When I go to http://www.shcjblog.org I arrive here:
  http://cl.ly/image/3C2O3z302122

  For the second URL, do you mean http://shcj.wordpress.com, your original WordPress.com address? Using that link I arrive to the same site as above, at http://info.shcj.org/

  It sounds like you may need to clear your browser or computer’s cache.

  Could you please first try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies? Here are some instructions if you’re not sure how.

  If that doesn’t work, could you please try viewing the site in a different browser? If you still can’t see your site, you may need to flush the DNS cache on your computer. The method for doing that varies by operating system, so just let me know what you’re running and I’ll point you to the right instructions. Thanks.
