Site redirect

  Hi,
  I have a question regarding the plugin: Site Redirect.
  Will the redirection happen directly after typing in the domain name into browser or will the content from wordpress.com be shown first and then the redirection will happen?

  Thanks for the quick reply.
  The description says:

  This upgrade redirects your wordpress.com blog to your new blog by performing permanent (301) redirects for all of your content.

  I don’t want to redirect any content. I just want my readers to be automatically redirected to my blog at wordpress.org.

  Do I need different plugin for it?

  The Site Redirect upgrade is there is you want to redirect all post and image permalinks of your site.

  If you just want to point the domain you registered at WordPress.com to another server (hosting service), you can use these steps:

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  You’ll need to obtain the name server values from your current host. You should be able to find them on their support documentation, or contact them and ask for the information. (Name servers may be referred as “nameservers” or “NS records” instead.)
