Site redirect purchased but need to resolve error 404

  I am moving from wordpress.com to a self-hosted blog. I have purchased site redirect. The site redirect works for homepage. However, when searching for a tag in the blog post through a search engine, it leads me to a error 404 page, does not link to the corresponding post in the new domain.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Can you please give me an example of a tag you searched for, or the URL for the WordPress.com blog that leads to a 404 page when it’s redirected? That will help me get a better idea of what’s going wrong there.

  I have been able to resolve this problem after taking to a friend. It was just a difference in permalink structures. I went to settings in my new site and changed permalink structure to match the one in my wordpress.com blog. Now, any search leading to the old posts get redirected to the new site. Thanks!
