Site restoration after deleting

  • Unknown's avatar

I deleted my site thinking I would still be able to use old URL, but when trying to create a new site, it says the URL already has a site. I am thinking that this is due to the deletion process and the inability to use the URL once the site is deleted.
Is there a way to restore the site so I can still use it.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi mugenjoseph,

I am thinking that this is due to the deletion process and the inability to use the URL once the site is deleted.

That’s correct, deleting a site means that address will be unavailable for use in the future:

    Delete a Website

We can reverse site deletions for the first 30 days so if you send a link to the one you are referring to, I can check whether this will be possible.

Thanks — americanbullypredigree.com was created with WordPress.org software and hosted by Bluehost rather than WordPress.com:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

We can only reverse the deletion of sites hosted here on WordPress.com so I recommend contacting Bluehost for help. They will be the best people to contact about restoring a backup and recovering the domain itself.

Come back to me if you have any questions.
