Site stats not working
-
Site stats aren’t working, I get a link to configure and then the following:
You are not a member of this site.
If you have just installed the WordPress.com Stats plugin, this error probably appeared because the API key entered in the plugin belongs to a different WordPress.com user account.
The owner of the API key must visit this site’s stats page to grant access.
I have access to the wordpress.com account and I am a site administrator. I haven’t had this problem with other sites?
Any suggestions.
Thanks,
Belinda

Hi there!
It looks like you are not an administrative user of the site blog.cmcmarkets.com.au. You’re listed as a subscriber. Subscribers can connect to a WordPress.com account in order to get admin bar notifications about the self-hosted site they’re subscribed to.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have other questions.

No that’s incorrect, I am an administrator, I am the webmaster. There is anothe administrator who is also having the same problem.
Why is it thinking I’m a subscriber?

I can try to help you sort this out, but it will involve taking a look at your self-hosted site. Can you log in there and check your user status under Users > All Users? Take a screenshot and upload it to the Media Library of one of your WordPress.com sites.
