Site Stats recovery after switching host
-
Hi, I changed website host recently so had to reconnect jetpack but now all my site stats have gone.
Is it possible to recover the historical site stats?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We can help you with this, but you’ll need to start by connecting Jetpack at https://nomipalony.com/
Jetpack is what provides your stats, so they may be recovered simply by reconnecting Jetpack. If not, we’ll at least need Jetpack connected so we know what site ID to transfer the stats over to in our system. :)

Whoops, never mind, found it. :)
With Jetpack, your stats and subscriber information is connected to a unique blog ID. Sometimes, if a site owner was using a development site or a different address when they set up Jetpack, disconnecting may create a new blog ID. When this happens, it may appear that your stats and subscribers were lost.
That’s what happened on your site.
I have fixed the issue and you should be able to get your stats and subscribers back by reconnecting to WordPress.com from the Jetpack section of your site’s Dashboard.

Thanks macmanx, i’ve reconnected to jetpack again however the stats seem to just be from 7th July still?

Good morning :)
It looks like XML-RPC is not responding correctly. Please make sure XML-RPC is turned on for your site and is set up to respond to all content types. You can test this yourself by running the following command from the command line:
curl -A 'Jetpack by WordPress.com' -d '<methodCall><methodName>demo.sayHello</methodName></methodCall>' https://www.nomipalony.com/xmlrpc.phpThe answer should be:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <methodResponse> <params> <param> <value> <string>Hello!</string> </value> </param> </params> </methodResponse>Let me know once that’s been sorted. Everything should update once things are properly connected again.

Hi
XMLRPC is now sorted, thanks for pointing that out
curl -A ‘Jetpack by WordPress.com’ -d ‘<methodCahodName>demo.sayHello</methodName></methodCall>’ https://www.nomipalony.com/wp/xmlrpc.php
However I still only seem to have the site stats for the last three days?

Ok, I have run the fix again, and you should be able to get your stats and subscribers back by reconnecting to WordPress.com from the Jetpack section of your site’s Dashboard.

Sorry about this, but Ive attempted to reconnect to wordpress from the jetpack dashboard but now just get an error “Error Details: Unable to insert blog. Please try again or contact support.”

Ok, please contact Jetpack Support at https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support and they’ll be able to take a closer look.
