Site under old email
-
I started a new account under a new email address; but it is not linked to the WordPress site. My site is under an old email address that is not available. How do I get access to my site?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi! This is a common issue when switching email addresses. Here’s what to try:
- First try logging in with your old email address at wordpress.com/login even if you think you can’t access it anymore. Sometimes the email still works for login purposes even if you can’t receive emails there.
- Try the account recovery form at wordpress.com/account-recovery — you may be able to verify ownership through other means like a transaction ID if you had a paid plan.
- If you remember the username associated with the old account try logging in with that at wordpress.com/login instead of the email.
- Contact WordPress.com support directly at wordpress.com/help/contact and explain that your site is under an old inaccessible email address. If you can provide proof of ownership such as billing receipts, the domain registration details for planetradio.ca, or other verification they can help transfer the site to your new account.
- Since planetradio.ca appears to be a custom domain the domain registration records may help prove you are the site owner.
Staff should be able to help you merge or transfer the site to your new account with proper verification. Hope you get access back soon!
