  Hello! I am starting a new site which is basically a new version of this site + more improvements and it said that if I delete this site, the url won’t be available in the future. Does that mean that even if it’s not taken and I want to use it, I can’t use it? Thank you!

  Yes, that’s correct. You won’t be able to reuse the address in the future if you delete it. If you plan on using it in the future, here are some alternatives:

  * Set the site to private if you don’t want it publicly visible: https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/
