    I created a site, was asked if I wanted to pay the extra $18 to make it directly a .com site. I did it but now it only opens as wordpress.com. How can I fix this? thanks

    Domain changes usually take several hours to fully take effect (and theoretically can take up to 72 hours). I’d recommend checking back in a few more hours. You can also try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. Instructions can be found here:
