Site vs. Domain

  I was checking out wordpress cause I heard that it could do not only blogs, but full domain sites. So I set up a quick blog, thinking that’s the foundation you build upon, but now I’m not finding any resources as to that. So either, “is that possible” or “how do I cancel my wordpress account?” Thanks

  What for you mean by “full domain sites”?
  Yes, you can purchase a domain name and map it to your free hosted WordPress.com blog.

  However, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate. To be very clear on what you want and what the differences between WordPress.com free hosted blogs and WordPress.org self-hosted blogs are read this please > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If I upgrade to the pro service and pay the $99 for the year, does it last one year from the time of paying or will I have to pay $99 again in January? Thanks

  All upgrades are for one year and for one blog only from the date of purchase. If we select to auto-renew then the renewal process is commenced 1 month ahead so it anything goes wrong we do not lose the domain.
