Site was compromised. Unable to make new posts.

    About a month ago, our website was hacked and many permissions were overwritten.

    We attempted to restore from backup, but not everything is operating as expected.

    The biggest issue right now is anything under /wp-admin is inaccessible and results in a 403 Forbidden error. This means that we currently cannot create any new pages or posts.

    Any recommendations? Is the website considered lost? If we can’t get these issues resolved, we may have to explore a different platform.

    If we do go this route, I would want to make sure we can restore all the posts/pages we have created up to this point.
