Site wasn’t deleted even though it said it was

    I exported a Tumblr blog to a WordPress site then decided to delete it. I even got a confirmation email saying that it had been deleted on August 24th and that the content would be removed in 30 days.

    However, it is now October 29th and for some reason the site still exists even though I couldn’t access it from my account anymore. Clicking on ‘My Site’ just returned the ‘You don’t have any WordPress sites yet’ message. I even closed the account I made it on in an effort to remove it permanently, but it’s still online. (This is a new account I made just to post this question.)

    If anyone could help, I’d really appreciate it.

    what is the URL of the ‘deleted’ website? Mind these forums are for websites on the wordpress.com platform.

    https://esporbsarchive.wordpress.com/ – you can see it still exists and it uses the wordpress domain.

    Upon closing my WordPress account I did receive an email from IntenseDebate saying that my account there had also closed (I didn’t even know I had one there) and that my data would be erased after 90 days, so maybe the site will be deleted then?
