Slug name change breaks the shop page

  Hello there,

  On the live site when I change the slug name of the shop page, the page loses all the products. To add more confusion to the mix, the naming convention is the same for our about us page and I change this with ease and no drama. It doesn’t do the same things as when I change the shop page slug.

  The only thing I can think of is that when I added a plugin for a courier service, we needed to change the permalinks, this process was done post woocommerce shop page creation. How do i fix this problem?
