Snags between hyperlinks in Outlook 2007 emails and Firefox

  I receive emails from [(email visible only to moderators and staff)] which have two (or more) models of hyperlink.
  https://wp.me/ppB1o-csu opens the relevant page in the default browser (Firefox). BUT others have a long format which starts https://public-api.wordpress.com/bar/?stat=groovemails.
  These links do not open a page in Firefox. All suggestions gratefully received!
