So called "pro" WordPress

    So I bought the domain, and I bought the “pro” version of things that was supposed to give me additional control. I still can’t edit my CSS, though that was one thing promised in purchasing the 30$ extra thing, and I can’t add plugins. Really? Is that the case?

  • While plugins are common on self hosted WordPress sites, due to security concerns, they are not available on WordPress.com. There is more info regarding WordPress.com and plugins here:

    However, we do have several built-in features that were inspired by many popular plugins. You might find what you want by searching for it at http://en.support.wordpress.com/

    What feature are you looking to add with a plugin?

    Regarding editing CSS. I do see that you have the Custom Design upgrade. So you should be able to follow the instructions here to edit your CSS:

    If that is what you have been trying and not having success, are you seeing any error messages? Is there any other information you can give me about what happens when you try to edit the CSS?
