social login problem

  When trying to link my google account to my WordPress account a notification pops up saying ‘This social account is already associated with a WordPress.com account.’ This may be because I accidentally created an account with the said google account, which I proceeded to delete. Any help linking my google account would be appreciated.

  Hi there,

  What is the Gmail address you’re trying to use? If it’s connected to an account you deleted recently the email address would still be associated with that account – it is only completely deleted after 30 days.

  In that case the quickest option would be to reply to the account closure email we sent you for that account and request that we manually remove the email address from the deleted account to free it up immediately.
