Social preview image not updating for my WordPress website

  Hi everyone,

  I have a WordPress website called SlideShare Downloader.

  After updating some pages and images, I noticed that when I share my website on social media, it still shows an old preview image instead of the new one.

  I already changed the featured image, cleared my browser cache, and waited for some time, but the preview is still outdated.

  Has anyone experienced this with a WordPress site? Is there a way to refresh the Open Graph or social preview cache?

  Since you’ve already updated the featured image on your site, the issue is that social media networks cache Open Graph data on their own servers. To fix this instantly, you need to use their official validator tools to force a re-scrape. For Facebook and Messenger, head to the Facebook Sharing Debugger, paste your URL ([https://slidesharedownloder.com/](https://slidesharedownloder.com/)), and click Scrape Again. For LinkedIn, use the LinkedIn Post Inspector to refresh the link preview. This bypasses their external cache and forces them to pull your brand-new image immediately!
