Some aspects of my blog are non-functional and frozen
-
This site appears to be frozen. I can still upload new content but, if I want to view a post under construction, I have to go ahead and publish. Then I have to log off so I can view the article for corrections. Then I have to log back on again, make the corrections, then log off to view it again, and so forth…
Also, I see them images on google but when I click on visit site it won’t take me there.
Thanks for your help,

Hi there, could you please let me know if this happens in a different browser, like Chrome or Firefox?
If it’s OK in another browser, could you please try clearing Safari’s cache? http://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/safari/
Let me know how it goes.

Ms. Happiness,
It still happens in Firefox. I went ahead and cleared the cache. Hope that’s okay. I have a friend coming over Wednesday, 12th at noon to take a look. He is my go to guy on computer issues.
Any suggestions you may want to pass on would be appreciated. He mentioned something about plug-ins…

Sure, do let us know if your friend is able to help.
In the meantime, please make sure you have third-party cookies enabled in both browsers. If you don’t, that can prevent pages from being previewed when you have a custom domain. More info: Preview Problems and Third Party Cookies
Let us know how it goes!

Hi. I did make sure 3rd part7 cookies were enabled in both currently-installed browsers, Safari and Firefox. What would u recommend we check next?

I’d like to get a better sense of exactly what you’re experiencing.
Is the trouble that you’re not able to preview a draft post?
What happens when you click the preview button? Do you get an error message at all? Do you see anything unusual? If so, would you be able to take a screenshot to help in troubleshooting? Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot, if you’re not sure: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/
You can upload the screenshot in your Media Library so I can see it.
Could you also:
– try Chrome and let me know how it goes?
– create a draft post and let me know when it’s done so I can look in your account and see if I can replicate the issue?
Thanks!

We did try Chrome. The problem occurs whenever we attempt to use a preview from within the editor or the view post button. The issue seems centered around the preview or view page to go into an endless loop loading, and further, when administering the blog the url is smilinggsucks.wordpress.com, and seems as if it wants to load smilinggsucks.me, the paid url.
I could make a screenshot, but it would just be a page trying and failing to load…
We did try Chrome, but to no avail. Same behavior.

Thanks for describing the issue further.
Would you mind creating a draft post and let me know when it’s done so I can look in your account and see if I can replicate the issue? Or do you mind if I create one myself? Thanks.

Here is the draft post: Test Draft – Rain in Spain Mainly Plain
We saved this as a draft, but did not publish. thanks -
Thanks!
Could you please let me know if you can load either of these URLs directly:
-
Yeah, they both upload quickly and the site shows up fine. It states “page not found”, however, but everything else looks normal.

Thanks for checking this. For another test, would you be willing to switch your primary domain back to smilinggsucks.wordpress.com just temporarily, by heading to Store > Domains:
https://smilinggsucks.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domainsTry previewing or viewing a post as usual and let me know if you still have a problem. This will rule out any issues with your custom domain.
After the test, you can switch back the primary domain to smilinggsucks.me.
Thanks!
