Some people can't comment

  Hi there! A number of people have informed me they cannot comment on my posts. Others can. I checked under ‘other options’ to enable comments but same result.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Comments on your posts are open. We are unable to help anyone who does not provided their operating system and browser details.

  Please have those people act on all the tips here https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/ first.

  • Make sure you are running an up to date browser version found at http://browsehappy.com
  • Make sure you have both JavaScript and third party cookies enabled https://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/#how-do-i-enable-third-party-cookies.
  • Disable any adblocker browser add-ons and all browser extensions and adons.
  • Try clearing your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
  • Try using another browser.

  Are those who are unable to comment WordPress.COM members If so please have them login here and provide the required information.
  (a) Exactly what kind of device they are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
  (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) they are using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/

  Lastly, tag this thread in the sidebar with modlook for Staff attention.

  That’s been done but do know that Staff need details from those who were unable to comment to be able to help.

  I can clearly see comment boxes at the end of your posts. Please ask these people to click the title of the post and scroll to the end of it. If they still do not see a comment box please also ask them to give you this information for Staff to consider:

  a) Exactly what kind of device they are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
  (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) they are using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/

  Hi there,

  I can also see the comment boxes on your posts. I checked both logged into my account and logged out.

  Please make sure as @timethief also mentioned that they’re clicking the post title to go to the single-post view, for example, https://scarredjoy.wordpress.com/2017/12/13/things-that-matter-in-the-face-of-cancer-part-one/

  The comment box only appears in the single post view, not in the main posts list.
