Somebody is accessing my wp admin through a different IP address
-
So recently I noticed over 120 new, random posts that said they were from another admin’s email. He did not do them and at least one of them was from 2021, way before I even made this site. I immediately removed him as an admin. I have since changed the passwords to both my hosting site and my wordpress admin and added two-factor authentication to both. I downloaded wordfence and scanned immediately and the only problem seemed to be that I needed to update some plugins. However, after doing all of this, I still got an email notification from wordfence saying that a different IP address had logged in under my admin profile in a completely different city that I have been nowhere near. They were also listed on 3 blacklist spam sites. I then tried to block the address through my site’s c-panel and was unable to access my wp admin after that. I immediately deleted it from the block list and was able to gain access again. I checked again to make sure it wasn’t my own IP address and it wasn’t. I really don’t know what to do because I can’t have somebody else accessing my site, but it doesn’t seem like I can block them. Thankfully my woocommerce payments are connected to an empty bank account and I hadn’t actually launched my business yet so there is no danger of other people’s information being stolen. Please help

Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
To check, are you facing these issues on cremdesigns.com? If yes, this site is not hosted with WordPress.com and so we are unable to help with this site.
I’d recommend reaching out to the hosting provider to do a scan of the site for anything undesired there.
I hope this helps.
