Someone is trying to hack my account

  Hello! I have received e-mails concerning more than 40 failed login attempts over the 3 days. I think someone tries to hack into my account. What can be done to further strengthen privacy? Could you help? Maybe 2FA is an option or extra questions that will be asked while attempting to login.

  Yes, enabling the 2FA is the way to go – I see you have already done that.

  You can also make sure you’re using a strong password:

  https://wordpress.com/support/security/#strong-password.

  In general, the fact that someone is trying to access your account doesn’t necessarily mean a hacking attempt. Someone may be typing their email address erroneously and using yours without knowing it.
  With a strong, unique password and 2-factor authentication, you don’t need to worry.
