Something broke when I linked (then unlinked) my two accounts
-
Recently, I linked my WordPress accounts (https://rhetoricoration.wordpress.com/ and http://www.rhetorator.com/). My domain is hosted by iPage, which recently renewed. Two days ago–before I linked the two–I had full access to rhetorator.com. I linked the two without thinking and have now lost access to rhetorator.com, the account that I would like to maintain. I’ve since unlinked the two–or so I believe–but somewhere along the line, something has gone sideways. I can see the cache of my page (accessible via Google cache), but I can no longer access my dashboard. I can access file manager through my domain host. My logic was that this would help me to create updates using the WordPress.com desktop application. I’m still a bit of a newbie, but I can’t seem to fix this problem. HELP!

To access your site http://www.rhetorator.com/ you must first completely remove the W3 Total Cache plugin. Next you can connect that site to your wordpress.com account rhetorator using the Jetpack plugin.

Hi@ rhetorator,
I can see an error coming up when you try to get on wp-admin, well you can go to your Cpanel control, and through file manager, you can disable the W3 total cache plugin by renaming the plugins name, and look of this help.
if it helps, then you can upload/update or install a newer versión or fresh versión of this plugin.
I hope this will help you.
