Something burped and I created 2 blogs instead of 1

Ok, I was creating a draft blog for working with the posts. I know I can do it on the regular site but for my own reasons I wanted a draft blog. When I entered the info for the draft blog and clicked to make it, the page blinked and I was still on the same page. I figured that the draft blog creation didn’t work. Sigh… So I reentered the info. BIG CLUE I should have realized it was now NOT approving the name I had for the draft blog. But this is Monday the brain dead day for me. So I jiggled it a bit. It created this blog without a hitch and did what it was suppose to do. When I get to my dashboard and the blogs I see 3 blogs. So now I have an extra draft one hanging in space. Is there a way to get rid of this extra without moving mountains? I mean I can let it hang there and use it if I ever need a 3rd blog but I swear I am a bit OCD about computers. I should be this compulsive about cleaning my house….

Just set the extra ones to Private. If you delete a blog that name is gone forever. Use the extra ones for testing or whatever. Who knows maybe you will like the extra name next month.
Dashboard >> Settings >> Privacy

Yep did that already as soon as I saw the burp. The draft one and that one is private. I think the urge to delete is a hang over from my over organization of my hard drives. If you don’t have organization, a hard drive is a nightmare to figure out where things are located. Any time I use a computer, that urge just kicks in.

Think I have to go rescue the garden. The other half has the weed eater out and I can see the tomatoes biting the dust like they did the last time weed eating was a project…

We get several people a week here that deleted a site and now want it back but can’t, so we always advise to set private.
