“Sorry, that site address is unavailable” – reinstatement request
-
The same problem which has been discussed here plenty of times (all topics I found are closed) – I had two blog sites on wordpress.com, I deleted one of them because I didn’t need it, and when I wanted to change the address of the second one to the address of the deleted one, I found out the address isn’t available anymore.
It seems I misread something and didn’t anticipate that “deletion is permanent and irreversible” means not only the deleted site cannot be restored, but also that its address becomes unusable by everyone, including me. However, in some of these topics I saw a crew member manually restoring an address to use, so I’d like to ask if it’s still possible.
The address in question is smellslikestreetspirit.wordpress.com and was removed yesterday, so it fits easily within the aforementioned 30-day window.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
