sourcing a new website

  HI, i am sourcing a new website template. I have seen another active WordPress site that i like – the subject matter is very different – but is there someone who i can ask what template it was built on please? i cant post the site name as that would be invasive. thank you

  Hi there,

  Visit the site in your browser and press Ctrl-U. That will let you view the source code of the site. Search for wp-content/theme, and you should be able to see the name of the theme the site is using.

  I’m also happy to check this for you, but I’d need to know the site’s URL to do that. If you post it here, we can always remove the URL afterwards, once we know what the site is. However, if it’s a website that’s already public and discoverable via Google and other search engines, there’s not any possible harm that can come from sharing the URL here.
