spam emails

    How can i stop these spam emails coming from my site . I am getting hundreds a day

    Hi there,

    To which emails are you referring? Until you created this account 15 hours ago we did not even have your email address, and we’ve never sent you any emails except the ones related to this forum thread, and the Welcome and activation emails when you created your account.

    Emails sent by us will always be from @wordpress.com. If the emails you’re getting is coming from any other domain, they’re not from us, even if the emails say “wordpress@”. What comes before the @ in an email is just a username. The source of the emails is the domain that comes after the @.
